With over 2000 hours of sunshine a year, Helgoland is one of the sunniest places in all of Germany. Slightly warmed by the Gulf Stream, not only the weather on Helgoland is quite mild with not too warm summers and not too cold winters. Plants and animals feel at home here all year round. Not least lobster and squill feel at home here. Guests can also explore a lot on land.

The HD live webcam on Helgoland provides vivid impressions of the landing stage and the harbor with Germany’s largest sea rescue cruiser “Hermann Marwede” around the clock. Over the dune with its bright sandy beaches and the characteristic lighthouse, the view continues out to the open North Sea. The view is simply worthwhile at any time of the day or night and especially at any time of the year. The wilderness of the small island is a vacation for the eye.
