Located in the north-east of the island, the youth hostel on Heligoland not only offers stunning views across the open sea, but also puts the island’s famous landmark, the “Lange Anna”, just a few minutes away.

With 139 beds in double and four- to eight-bed rooms, there is plenty of space for groups of all sizes. Whether you’re travelling with your family, a school group, a sports team or a club, you’ll find a place here.

The hostel offers single and shared rooms with a total of 139 beds. Some rooms are specially adapted for guests with disabilities, and accessible sanitary facilities are available, including rooms with separate wet rooms.

There is plenty to keep you entertained during your stay, including a piano, barbecue area, table tennis tables, boules court, basketball hoop, children’s playroom, recreation hall, outdoor chess area and a football pitch with artificial turf.

Our facilities also provide space for seminars and are particularly well suited to ornithologists, naturalists and geologists.

Meeting rooms for up to 40 people are available for training courses, workshops and lectures.

Your stay includes healthy and delicious full-board catering, served by our friendly and attentive staff. Packed lunches for excursions and special dietary requirements can also be arranged on request.
